Destruction on Christmas Tree Lane (Photos)

One of the lane's famous deodar cedars is down, and several others are cracked. The upper part of the lane, near the library, is much more intact.

Volunteers had just finished installing Christmas lights on Altadena's Christmas Tree Lane last weekend, but now it looks like there may be some more work to do.

One tree is down, and there are others that have been split, and branches all over the area.

The opening lighting ceremony is scheduled for a week from Saturday.
