Whether you admire its grace and agility or are simply terrified at the speed at which it swims, the rattlesnake in the video above is a sight to behold.
The video, which was shot in a stream bed in Eaton Canyon, comes courtesy of Altadena Patch reader Brent Morgan who also provided yesterday's video of a black rattlesnake moving silently at night.
Be warned, there is some profane language near the end of the video, the reaction of a hiker learning just how fast a snake can move in water.
