HIKING COBB ESTATE AT NIGHT?

ATTENTION, COBB ESTATE NIGHTHIKERS.

Ok, so you want excitement in life. You heard the Cobb estate is haunted. Something about a ghost, and that you can hear the footsteps of the ghost hiker at night. A couple of things you should know. That giant headlamp flashing in everyones eyes at night is blinding. It screams newbie. first timer. And those new lights that can light up the forrest for 3 miles are for what? Stop with the high beams in everyones faces. It's obnoxious.

Also, just because I am hiking alone, and almost never use a light at night, doesn't mean I am the ghost. If you are going to jump 15 feet in the air as I come around the corner, even though you are with 5 other people, let someone else lead. Other than that, I am happy more people are hiking their at night. I can cruise down the trail with my Walkman on, and not worry about lions and tigers and bears. ...oh my

EDIT: I use a flashlight quit often. On a full Moon I may not turn it on very much. A flashlight is great for close up dangers, however it also closes off the rest of the world as you become blind to everything beyond 10-20 feet.
