Loud Alarm from the Water Company

Has anyone else been woken up by the loud, on going alarm at the Water Company? I have complained a few times and the response I get is no one else has called to complain. I have a little child here at my home and I also work really early, so the alarm going off at odd hours of the night is so frustrating!

If anyone else is bothered by this, please make sure to report it so I don't seem like I am the only crazy person writing to them.

The email to send it to is: mautran@lawc.org I am keeping track of this now so that I can talk to the city council about it as well if it continues.

Hi Cynthia, I would gladly help but I don't hear an alarm. Which water company are you talking about? It is disturbing to think the water company is unresponsive to it's neighbor. I wonder what the alarm is for and how long it has been used. May I suggest that you drop a note to your neighbors surrounding the plant? If you create a mini petition to present to the water company (and if necessary then the City Counsel) you are more likely to get a remedy.

Yes, which water? Rubio, Las floras .....And how do you know its really the water co, and not someone's house alarm?

Jan, Jack: It's the one on Harriet Street; I live in the same block and I can hear the alarm coming directly from the building. I am not sure if this is just the facility where one pays the bills and not an actual plant, but it is the water company for sure. Since my last email to them, it has been quiet, THANKFULLY, and I hope it stays that way.
