Pasadena Waldorf School Festival of Light Holiday Celebration

The 28th annual Festival of Light welcomed the holiday season with a musical performance by Pasadena Waldorf School students.

The 28th annual Festival of Light performed to capacity audience.

For 28 years, to welcome the winter holiday season, Pasadena Waldorf School has invited the community to enjoy a Festival of Light in conjunction with the Winter Solstice. When the northern hemisphere is experiencing its longest period of darkness, this evening of music and movement is a soulful gift from Pasadena Waldorf students and PWS Music Director, Karen Livingston.

The theme of the 28th Annual Festival of Light was “Of Stars and Shepherds.” The performance included a selection of carols, traditional Hebrew songs and American folk songs. Tone chimes and hand bells provided musical accompaniment for the voices of 3rd through 9th grade students.
