Pasadena Waldorf School Announces New First Grade Teacher for Class of 2025

The College of Teachers at PWS welcomes Justin Loeser to the faculty beginning with the 2013-14 school year.

Every year, Pasadena Waldorf School welcomes a new teacher to lead a class of children through the first eight grades. In September, Justin Loeser will be joining the teaching faculty to begin this journey with the incoming first graders. The Waldorf class teacher guides the children during these important and impressionable years and is responsible for much of the curriculum, including writing, reading, and arithmetic. He also has a responsibility to each child for providing consistent authority and a nurturing and secure environment for the child to explore the world.

Mr. Loeser exhibits qualities that are strong indicators of a born teacher, which led to assignments as a classroom assistant for several grade levels during the preceding two years. While assisting in the classroom, he also participated in the Waldorf teacher education program at Rudolf Steiner College in Sacramento as well as The Waldorf Institute of Southern California.
