18-Year-Old on Probation Is Arrested in Altadena for Robbery

An 18-year-old man already on probation for robbery is facing possible additional charges after sheriff's detectives serving a search warrant in Pasadena allegedly found him with items reported stolen during multiple burglaries, authorities said.

Justin Bryson was arrested about 9 a.m. Thursday by detectives investigating a burglary that happened on Jan. 19 in the 1600 block of Crest Drive in Altadena, according to the sheriff's department.

One of the items taken during the burglary was an expensive guitar that detectives later learned had been sold. Investigators located surveillance video of Bryson allegedly selling the guitar and when the search warrant was served, they found evidence linking him to the burglary, sheriff's department officials said.
