65-Year-Old Woman Who Died After Pulling Over Car Identified as Altadena Resident

Linda Tsui, 65, of Altadena, died on Saturday in Pasadena after pulling over her car because she felt ill. She collapsed shortly after.

Authorities today identified a 65-year-old woman who died shortly after she became ill while driving on a downtown Pasadena street, and pulled over and stopped.

The woman was identified on Monday as Linda Tsui of Altadena, according to coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter. The cause of death was not immediately known.

Tsui was driving along Green Street, between Orange Grove Boulevard and Grand Avenue, about 4:50 p.m. Saturday with a friend when she became ill and decided to pull over, said Pasadena police Lt. Diego Torres.

She got of her sedan and then collapsed and died at the scene, Torres said.
