Altadena Blotter: Stolen Cars, DUI and Other Crimes

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Altadena Station released the following report on Tuesday, March 18:

Tuesday, March 11

• Between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. – A petty theft occurred in the 3200 block of Santa Anita Avenue. Loss:  A bag of recyclable cans/bottles and clothing.
• 4:15 PM – A residential burglary occurred in the 1100 block of East Morada Place. Suspects entered the residence by kicking in the rear door. Suspect #1 described as a male, Hispanic, 16-17 years old, 5 foot 8, 120-130 pounds, dark hair, black shirt, cargo shorts / Suspect #2 described as a male, Hispanic, 16-17 yrs, 508, 120-130, dark hair, red long sleeve shirt, dark pants / Suspect #3 described as a male, Hispanic, 16-17 years old, gray hooded sweatshirt. Suspects last seen southbound on Mar Vista Avenue. Loss: none.
• Between 4:30 and 5:20 p.m. – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 300 block of Acacia Street. Suspect(s) entered the vehicle by prying the rear window. Loss: Black Garmin Nuvi GPS, black Samsung Galaxy, black wallet.

Wednesday, March 12

• Between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. (Thursday) – A petty theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred in the 1700 block of Morada Place. Loss: Coins.
• Between 10 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. (Thursday) – A vehicle was reported stolen from the 700 block of New York Drive.  ***Vehicle was recovered by Arcadia PD***

Thursday, March 13

• Between 7 and 9 a.m. – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 400 block of East Sacramento Street. 
• Between 4 p.m. and 7 a.m. (Friday) – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 2400 block of North El Molino Avenue. 

Friday, March 14

• 8:10 p.m. – A stolen vehicle was recovered in the area of Marigold Street and Olive Avenue.  ***Vehicle was stolen out of LAPD Foothill***
• 11:03 p.m. – Jerry Porchia, 58 yrs, of Monrovia was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance. 

Saturday, March 15

• 2:54 a.m. – Francisco Anguiano, 19 yrs, of Pasadena was arrested for driving without a license and driving under the influence.
• 9:17 a.m. – A vehicle was reported stolen from the 100 block of East Woodbury Road.  ***Vehicle was recovered by LASD Altadena***
