Altadena Blotter: Stolen Vehicle, DUI and Other Crimes

The report includes crimes from Sunday, April 20 through Saturday, April 26.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Altadena Station released the following reports:

Sunday, April 20

  • 2:30 a.m. – A vehicle was reported stolen from the 2200 block of North Fair Oaks Avenue. ***Vehicle recovered on 4/21/2014 in the area of Mountain View Avenue and Glenrose Avenue.***

  • 9:15 p.m. – An assault with a deadly weapon occurred in the 1000 block of Morada Place. ***Suspect possibly known***

Tuesday, April 22

  • 7:06 PM – Andrew Porter, 48 years old, of Pasadena was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication.
  • Between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m. (Wednesday) – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 200 block of West Las Flores Avenue. Suspect(s) entered the vehicle via unknown means. Loss: Film.
  • Between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m. (Wednesday) – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 3000 block of North Olive Avenue. Suspect(s) entered the vehicle by shattering the front passenger side window. Loss: Black Marc Jacob’s wallet.

Wednesday, April 23

  • Between 7:30 and 9:30 a.m. – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 2700 block of Glenrose Avenue. Suspect(s) entered the vehicle by shattering the passenger side window. Loss: Garmin GPS.
  • 8:15 a.m. – Gary Knighten, 34 yrs, of Altadena, was arrested for possession of concentrated cannabis.

Thursday, April 24

  • 11:10 p.m. – Michael Peterson, 46 yrs, of Monrovia, was arrested for driving under the influence.

Friday, April 25

  • 10:14 a.m. – Sean Thomas, 26 yrs, of Pasadena, was arrested for criminal threats.

Saturday, April 26

  • 10:42 PM – Tyler Ambrose, 34 yrs, of Pasadena, was arrested for possession of controlled substance.
