Altadena Crime Blotter: Burglaries, Vandalism

Several residential burglaries occurred in Altadena recently, among other crimes.

The Altadena Sheriff's Station provided the following information about recent crimes:

Saturday, Dec. 29

Between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM (Tuesday) – A vehicle was stolen from the 1900-blk of E. Washington Blvd. Loss: silver ’07 Toyota Tacoma.

Monday, Dec. 31

Between 10:00 PM and 3:00 AM (Tuesday) – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 2100-blk of Pinecrest Dr. Loss: MacBook Air

Tuesday, Jan. 1

Between 12:05 AM and 1:00 PM – A residential burglary occurred in the 2500-blk of N. Olive St. Loss: miscellaneous jewelry.

10:00 PM – A vandalism occurred in the 3500-blk of Glenrose Av. Damage: house window shattered.

Wednesday, Jan. 2

Between 9:40 AM and 10:40 AM – An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 3100-blk of Santa Anita Av. Suspect(s) attempted to enter the residence by shattering the kitchen window. Loss: none.

Between 11:30 AM and 4:30 PM – A residential burglary occurred in the 2700-blk of Lake Av. Suspect(s) entered the residence via the unsecured window. Loss: two MacBooks, a iMac 17”, and cash.

Thursday, Jan. 3

Between 7:55 AM and 8:45 AM – A residential burglary occurred in the 2300-blk of N. Garfield Av. Suspect(s) attempted to enter the residence by shattering a window. Loss: none.

8:30 AM and 2:00 PM – A grand theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred in the 200-blk of W. Harriet St. Loss: black handgun and black iPod Touch.

4:30 PM and 8:30 AM (Friday) – A residential burglary occurred in the 2600-blk of Windsor Av. Loss: black Yamaha stereo receiver.

Friday, Jan. 4

Between 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 600-blk of E. Deodara Dr. Damage: rear window shattered.

Saturday, Jan. 5

Between 7:00 PM and 10:30 PM – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 400-blk of W. Figueroa St. Damage: vehicle scratched, tires punctured.
