Altadena Crime Blotter: Several Burglaries, Child Endangerment

See what crimes took place in Altadena over the past week.

The Altadena Sheriff's Station shared the following incidents:

Tuesday, Oct. 16
A business in the 2000 block of Fair Oaks was burglarized at 2:15 AM. A small amount of currency was taken. Video surveillance of the incident showed four unknown male suspects.

During a parole compliance check at a residence in the 300 block of Altadena Drive, COPS Team Deputies arrested three adults for Child Endangerment. Deputies determined that the residence was in such disrepair and unkempt that it posed an immediate danger to the two one year-old children at the location. DCFS took custody of the children.

Monday, Oct. 15
An unknown suspect stole two bicycles from the backyard of a residence in the 2600 block of Glen Avenue.

A residential burglary was reported in the 1300 block of Rubio Street. Entry was made through an unlocked door.

Sunday, Oct. 14
An unknown suspect entered an unlocked vehicle in the 200 block of Marathon Road and stole the victim’s briefcase.

Wednesday, Oct. 10
An unknown suspect spray painted graffiti on the sidewalk at Charles White Park (77 Mountain View Street).

Tuesday, Oct. 9
A vehicle burglary occurred at Eaton Canyon (1700 block of Altadena Drive). The unknown suspect smashed the window of a parked car and stole the victim’s purse, which was visible from the outside.
