Altadena Crime Blotter: Theft and Burglaries

More theft and burglaries occurred in Altadena recently, including package theft and vehicle burglary.

The Altadena Sheriff's Station shared the following incidents:

Sunday, Aug. 18

Between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. – A grand theft occurred in the 3500 block of McNally Ave. An American Standard A/C unit was reported missing. 
3:15 p.m. – A residential vandalism occurred in the 2800 block of Marengo Ave.

Between 10 p.m. and 12:04 a.m. – A petty theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred at 24Hr. Fitness, 2180 N. Lincoln Ave. Loss: black wallet, vehicle registration, personal identification. 

Monday, Aug. 19

Between 5 p.m. and 11 a.m.  – A grand theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred in the 1000-blk of E. Poppyfields Dr. Loss: currency. 

Tuesday, Aug. 20 

10:45 a.m. – Nekisha Hampton, 39 yrs, of Los Angeles was arrested for forgery. 

Wednesday, Aug. 21 

Between 1:45 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. – A package theft occurred in the 3000 block of N. Maiden Ln. Loss: inversion table. 

9:48 p.m. – Jesse Warren, 58 yrs, of Pasadena was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. 

Friday, Aug. 23

Between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m. – A vehicle burglary occurred at 24Hr. Fitness, 2180 N. Lincoln Ave. Loss: file folder containing misc. documents. 

4:25 a.m. – A residential burglary occurred in the 200 block of W. Terrace St. Suspect described as a male, black or Hispanic, 20 yrs, 509, light complexion, stocky build. Suspect entered the residence via the unlocked rear door. Loss: none. 

Between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.  – A residential burglary occurred in the 800 block of New York Dr. Suspect(s) entered the residence via unknown means. Loss: currency.
