Altadena Fire Displaces Family

The fire occurred at about 3 a.m. Wednesday

A noninjury fire in an attached garage at a home in Altadena displaced a family this morning, authorities said.

The fire in the home at 383 West Harriet St. was reported around 3 a.m., said county fire dispatch supervisor Michael Pittman.

The flames were out in 10 minutes, he said. The fire displaced a family, and the American Red Cross was called to arrange temporary accommodations, Pittman said.
