Altadena Sheriff's Station Seeking Public's Help to Identify Robbery Suspect

The strong-armed robbery happened near the Bank of America entrance at 2345 Lake Avenue May 31.

The Altadena Sheriff’s Station is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in a strong-armed robbery, the station announced in a statement Monday.

The robbery happened near the entrance of the Bank of America at 2345 Lake Avenue in Altadena at 5:40 p.m. on May 31.

When the victim tried to enter the bank with a paper bag containing money, the suspect forcefully removed the bag from under her arm and pushed her to the ground when she struggled.

The suspect was last seen entering the passenger side of a Gold Nissan Versa Sedan that had paper plates with a black background and heading south on Lake Avenue.

The suspect is described as a male Hispanic or White, 20-30 years old, 5'05", 140 lbs, wearing a beige baseball cap, blue baggy collared shirt, dark pants and dark shoes.
