Original: A 55-year-old Altadena woman was arrested Saturday on suspicion of fatally stabbing her husband.
The 47-year-old man was found stabbed in front of an apartment building in the 900 block of East Mariposa Street about 1:25 p.m. Saturday, according to Deputy Guillermina Saldana of the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau. The man was declared dead at a hospital about 5 p.m., according to sheriff's deputies, who withheld his name.
The man's wife, whose name also was withheld, was later arrested on suspicion of murder, and a knife believed to have been used in the stabbing was recovered, sheriff's deputies said.
