Another Rescue Performed in the Angeles National Forest

Man, Woman Rescued From Chaney Trail, the man sustained major injuries in the fall, authorities said.

A man and a woman were airlifted by rescuers after the man reportedly slipped and fell during a hike in the mountains above Altadena Saturday morning.

Rescuers were notified around 11:19 a.m. of a man who slipped and fell from Chaney Trail near the water falls. The man reportedly suffered head trauma, said Deputy Fajardo of the . It was not immediately known if the female hiker suffered any injuries.

By 11:46 a.m. the two were transported to Huntington Memorial Hospital.
