Car Overturns at New York and Lake

A car overturned on Lake Avenue Monday night leading to minor injuries and some property damage, according to Officer Francisco Villalobos, of the California Highway Patrol.

No others cars were involved in the accident and investigators are still trying to determine how the car overturned, Villalobos said.

After flipping, the car skidded and collided with a bench at a bus stop.

The driver had "minor injuries," Villalobos said, and he said he was uncertain if the person was hospitalized.  The CHP got the call at 10:16 p.m., he said.
