CERT Classes to be Offered By Sheriff's, Pasadena Fire Department

The Altadena Sheriff's Station and Pasadena Fire Department are hosting a series of CERT classes that are open to the public.

The Altadena Sheriff's Station and Pasadena Fire Department are hosting a series of Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) classes from July 14 to July 21.  

Some of the classes wil be held at Pasadena Fire Station 33 at 515 N. Lake Avenue and some at the .  Anybody interested can register online here.  To get certified, participants must go to each class.

  • Saturday, July 14, 8 am to 5 pm @ Pasadena Fire Station #33. Topics: Introduction, Disaster Prep, CERT organization, Search & Rescue, Triage.
  • Tuesday, July 17 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm @ Altadena Community Church. Topics: Triage Review & Exercises, Disaster Medical - Treatment 
  • Wednesday, July 18 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm @ Altadena Community Church. Topics: Disaster Medical, Medical/Search & Rescue Review-Exercises, Disaster Psychology 
  • Thursday, July 19 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm @ Altadena Community Church.  Topics: Terrorism, Fire Safety Lecture, Cribbing Lecture 
  • Saturday, July 21 8 am to 3:30 pm @ Pasadena Fire Station #33.  Topics: Cribbing Practical Exercises, Fire Suppression Practical Exercises, Final Exam Practical Exercises, Final Exam Written, Evaluations, Graduation
