Coroner Identifies Body Found on Crest
A motorist found the male body early Thursday, laying on the side of Angeles Crest Highway. Shell casings were found nearby, according to a source.
Authorities have identified the body found laying on the side of Angeles Crest Highway Thursday as that of Noe Vasquez, City News Service reports.
Vasquez is 35 years old, according to the La Cañada Valley Sun, and may have suffered a gunshot wound. No autopsy has been performed yet, the paper reports. The death was being investigated as a homicide, said Ed Winter, assistant chief for the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner.
The CHP while homicide investigators combed an expansive area of the Angeles National Forest. The road was reopened Thursday night.
