Crime Blotter: Theft, Assault, and Burglary

Information provided by the Altadena Sheriff's Station for August 4- August 9



Sunday, August 4th

Between 1:30 AM and 2:00 PM – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 300 block of W. Palm St. Loss: navy blue Juicy Couture purse, personal identification, currency.

11:35 PM – An assault with a deadly weapon occurred in the 100 block of Laurel Dr. Suspects described as (3) Male Black Adults.

Monday, August 5th
Between 1:00 PM and 9:00 PM – A petty theft occurred in the 2100 block of Raymond Av. Loss: jewelry, currency.

Between 8:00 PM and 8:30 AM (Tuesday) – A grand theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred in the 1200 block of New York Av. Loss: silver MacBook Pro, credit cards, currency.

Tuesday, August 6th
Between 8:30 AM and 12:00 PM – A residential burglary occurred in the 100 block of W. Harriet St. Loss: none.

Wednesday, August 7th
Between 11:15 AM and 1:15 PM – (2) vehicle burglaries occurred in the 200 block of W. Ventura St. Suspect(s) entered the vehicle by shattering the front passenger window. Loss: (2) 6” TVs.

Altadena Detectives and Crescenta Valley Detectives executed a search warrant in Temple City regarding a residential burglary suspect. The suspect (parolee) was arrested and stolen property was recovered.

7:00 PM – A grand theft occurred in the 700 block of Altadena Dr. Loss: black Apple iPad.

Thursday, August 8th
Between 8:30 AM and 10:20 AM – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 2200 block of Crestview Ln. Suspect(s) entered the vehicle by shattering the front passenger window. Loss: black purse, personal identification, checkbook, credit cards.

10:20 AM – A petty theft occurred at Super King, 2260 N. Lincoln Av. Loss: liquor bottle.

Friday, August 9th
4:00 PM – A petty theft occurred in the 1800 block of N. Lake Av. Loss: black/gray Dell 17 laptop.
