Crime Blotter: Home and Vehicle Burglaries

Property-related crime was the norm this past week.

Wednesday, December 21st

Between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Saturday  An attempt residential burglary occurred in the 300-blk of Laun St.  Suspect(s) attempted to enter the residence by removing the window screens and prying the window.  No entry was made.

Between 12:00 PM and 2:45 PM, Thursday – A residential burglary occurred in the 2300-blk of Tanoble Dr.  Suspect(s) entered the residence by shattering the bedroom window.  Loss:  unknown.

Thursday, December 22nd

Between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM A residential burglary occurred in the 2000-blk of Lake Ave.  Suspect(s) entered the residence via the front door by using bodily force.  Loss:  silver Toshiba DVD player, silver Samsung CD portable player.

12:00 PM – A petty theft occurred at Focus Point Academy, 119 W. Palm St.  Loss: misc. currency.

Between 4:00 PM and 5:50 PM – A residential burglary occurred in the 600-blk of Sacramento St.  Suspect(s) entered the residence via the unlocked bedroom window.  Loss:  black HP laptop, black Sony PlayStation.

Friday, December 23rd

10:00 AM A residential burglary occurred in the 1300-blk of Westlyn Pl.  Suspect(s) entered the residence by prying the living room door.  Loss:  black Apple iPad.

Between 5:00 PM and 10:00, Saturday A residential burglary occurred in the 500-blk of W. Palm St.  Suspect(s) entered the vacant residence via unknown means.  Loss:  copper pipe.

Saturday, December 24th

Between 8:00 PM and 10:30 AM, Sunday – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 2400-blk of Washington Blvd.  Suspect(s) entered the vehicle via unknown means.  Loss:  blue Bosch jigsaw, blue Makita drill, blue Makita saw, SuperSeven edger, misc. construction tools.
