Crime Blotter--Burglaries

A week in crime in Altadena.

Monday, February 13th 
Between 8:00 PM Monday and 8:00 AM Wednesday – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 2200-blk of N. Lincoln Av.  Suspect(s) entered the vehicle by shattering the rear window and driver’s side window. Loss: gray Garmin gps.
 

Tuesday, February 14th 
9:58 AM  – A residential burglary occurred on the 900-blk of East Palm St. Suspect entered the residence via the unlocked front door and encountered the victim who was inside the residence. The suspect asked the victim if the residence was for sale - which the victim declined and told the suspect that he needed to leave. The victim called the station and deputies responded to area and subsequently arrested the suspect in the immediate area. Loss: none. 
Between 11:00 PM and 2:50 AM Wednesday – A vehicle burglary occurred in the area of Fair Oaks/Kellogg Ct. Suspect(s) entered the vehicle by shattering the right rear passenger window. Loss: black Garmin NUVI gps.

Thursday, February 16th 
10:37 AM – A residential burglary occurred in the 2400-blk of Glenrose Av.  Suspects attempted to enter the residence by removing the rear window screen. Deputies responded to the area and arrested a male juvenile. Loss: none.
Between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 2300-blk of Santa Anita Av. Suspect(s) entered the vehicle by shattering the driver’s side window. Loss: black Garmin gps.
Between 4:15 PM and 5:20 PM – Two vehicle burglaries occurred in the parking structure of the 24Hr. Fitness, 2180 N. Lincoln Av.  Suspect(s) entered the vehicles by shattering the windows. Loss: black leather purse.

Saturday, February 18th 
Between 8:30 PM and 8:30 PM Monday – A residential burglary occurred in the 2400-blk of N. Lincoln Av. Suspect(s) entered the residence by removing the window screen. Loss: white Apple Macbook.
