Deputies are searching for reported prowlers in the area of North Mar Vista Avenue.
A report of suspicious persons walking in the neighborhood was called in at 10:58 a.m. Deputies have focused on a particular house and are clearing the property, said Lieutenant Angela Shepherd of the Altadena Sheriff's Station.
Shepherd was unable to provide any further details, but according to Sheriff's broadcast traffic a deputy reported finding window screens removed at a home. A suspect was reportedly detained.
