Authorities responded to an injury crash on Angeles Crest Highway Saturday afternoon.
The incident was reported just before 4 p.m. on the mountain road near mile marker 56.5, according to the California Highway Patrol. According to CHP traffic logs, the injured rider lost feeling in a portion of his body, but it was unclear the extent of his injuries.
The accident reportedly happened near the Newcomb's Ranch area.
According to Tatiana Sauquillo of the CHP, a helicopter transported the victim. The victim's condition was not known. According to scanner reports, the victim was flown to Huntington Memorial Hospital.
