Deputies from the Altadena Sheriff's Station were aiding LAPD detectives with a containment during a search for a person of interest Wednesday morning.
Around 9:30 a.m., LAPD detectives were conducting police work in the area of North Grandeur Avenue and West Mountain View Street, where a command post was also established, said Lt. Angela Shepherd of the Altadena Sheriff's Station.
Detectives conducted yard-to-yard searches at one point to find their person of interest, according to Sheriff's broadcast traffic.
It was not immediately known why LAPD detectives were searching for this person of interest.
