Man Injured in Pasadena Shooting

Written by Jessica E. Davis

A 30-year-old-man was shot in the torso in Pasadena, and police said today he was expected to survive.

The shooting happened on the street around 1:20 a.m. in the 600 block of Palisade Street, said Lt. Jason Clawson of the Pasadena Police Department.

The circumstances of the shooting and the number of suspects involved are unknown because the victim was uncooperative, Clawson said.

The man was hospitalized and is expected to survive, the lieutenant said. His condition was not released, but he was described as with stable life signs.

The shooting may have stemmed from an altercation after a house party spilled into the streets, Clawson said.
