The hiker, who made a telephone call to a co-worker from a ridge at 8:53 a.m. today and told him where he parked his car, was found by members of the Montrose Search and Rescue Team who set out from the parking lot, she said.

Members of a search team later spotted the man and send it several people to guide him back to his car, Jones said.
