Updated: Minor Injuries in Highway 2 Motorcycle Accident

A motorcycle driver fell off his bike on the Angeles Crest Highway Thursday afternoon, but only suffered minor injuries.

Updated 3:37 p.m: According to Sgt. Marcy Ringel of the Altadena Office, the motorcylist's injuries were minor. 

Original: A motorcycle crashed on the Angeles Crest Highway on Thursday afternoon, according to Officer Ed Jacobs of the California Highway Patrol.

The driver of the motorcycle was injured at the scene.  CHP Officer Tatiana Sauquillo said the office did not have any information on the extent of the driver's injures as of 3 p.m.  The call for an accident came in at 1:19 p.m

The accident happened at mile marker 28, which is about four miles north off the 210 Freeway.  A Patch reporter who went by the scene around 2:30 did not see any evidence of the accident or any emergency vehicles at the scene.
