Motorcyclist Crashes on Angeles Crest Highway

The driver was evacuated by helicopter from the highway with "major injuries" late Tuesday afternoon.

A 44-year-old motorcycle driver was taken by helicopter from Angeles Crest Highway to Huntington Memorial Hospital with "major injuries,'' after a crash on Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.

Officer Christian Cracraft said the man, whose identity was not released, suffered scrapes and bruises to his knees, elbows and face. The man was admitted to Huntington Memorial for treatment, he said.
