Rescuers Find Injured Hiker Near Cobb Estate
The hiker, a female, has been transported to Huntington Memorial Hospital.
A female hiker was rescued this afternoon near the Cobb Estate, a deputy at told Patch. The call came in at roughly 2:45 p.m. and she was found and recovered at 3:45 p.m.
Details about the extent of the hiker's injuries are unknown at this time, though authorities said she was unconscious. She has been transported to Huntington Memorial Hospital.
The Cobb Estate is known today as the National Forest-run area at the top of Lake Avenue and is one of Altadena's best-known open-space areas.
