Authorities today identified a man who was killed Saturday when his motorcycle crashed in the Angeles National Forest near the Cloudburst Summit in the area of the Mt. Waterman Ski Resort
Martin Del Orbe, 28, of Panorama City died at the scene of the crash, which occurred about 2:30 p.m. Saturday on Angeles Crest Highway near mile marker 57.50, according to the coroner's office and the California Highway Patrol.
According to the preliminary investigation, Del Orbe was riding east on Angeles Crest Highway when the motorcycle veered off the roadway for an unknown reason and hit a signpost, the CHP reported
