Sheriff's Holiday Toy Drive Reminder

The department is reminding residents that following Thanksgiving there is still room for more holiday charity

Sheriff's Department volunteer Carolyn Seitz has the following update:

Greetings to you all.

I hope you had a great celebration for Thanksgiving.

Attached is a flyer for the Sheriff's Food & Toy Drive.  You are aware that we are hoping to be able to feed at least 250 Altadena families this holiday season.

You can drop off non-perishable food, such as canned corn or green beans, canned yams, Jiffy Cornbread Mix, Jello packages, Pudding packages, cake mixes, boxes of stuffing (or dressing), cranberries or brownie mix at the Sheriff's Station, Library, Bank of America or Chase Bank until December 13.

You can also drop off new toys for children aged 2 to 12 until December 13.

We're actually hoping to do most of the sorting on December 10th from noon to about 5 pm at the Altadena Community Center for anyone who would like to help.

You can drop of monetary donations - cash or checks payable to "Altadena Station Fund" at the Altadena Sheriff's Station.

If you have questions, please let me know.

All contributions are gratefully accepted.
