Sheriff's Department Amping up Public Outreach

Three events coming up in the next month will give Altadena residents a chance to get to know officers at the Altadena Station.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department will be hosting three events in the next month that are designed to let residents get a chance to know the officers that work in town.

The first event, on July 25, is called " and will take place at the . It is designed to let residents come have a cup of coffee with Capt. Steve McLean of the Altadena Sheriff's Station and discuss recent crime trends and other community concerns.

The next event is a at which will feature food and activities and another forum for residents to get to know some of the Altadena officers.
