The Board of Supervisors today renewed a $10,000 reward for information leading to whoever fatally shot a 24-year-old man in Altadena in 2004.
Anthony Lofton was shot at Jim's Burgers on Lincoln Avenue near Woodbury Drive on Jan. 13, 2004.
Supervisor Michael Antonovich, who recommended the reward, said two witnesses reported seeing a man running from the burger stand immediately after the gunshot was heard.
The reward, announced in December 2008, was set to expire today.
Anyone with information about the crime was asked to call sheriff's Detective Margarita Barron at (323) 890-5500.
