Suspect Arrested After Home Burglary

Two other suspects still outstanding after deputies end search for remaining suspects.

Deputies confirmed a burglary did occur in the 2200 block of North Mar Vista Avenue, earlier Monday.

One suspect was arrested after being detained by Altadena Station deputies. Two other suspects were not found after deputies established a search perimeter with the aid of a helicopter, said Lieutenant Elizabeth Sachs.

The arrest came as part of dual call around 11 a.m. The initial call was for reported prowlers in the neighborhood. Shortly after, a second call was received of a burglary alarm, Sachs said.

Deputies were able to confirm a burglary at the residence in question. Window screens were removed from the rear of the house and a window was opened to gain entry, Sachs said.

Deputies left the scene around 12 p.m.

It was not immediately known what was stolen in the burglary.
