At least two Altadena residents were arrested in a .
The Sheriff's Department and several local police agencies carried out the parole compliance check in La Cañada Flintridge, La Crescenta, Montrose, Sunland, Tujunga, Lake View Terrace, Pasadena and Altadena and made eight arrests total.
Tezitzala Saavedra, 32, was arrested for child endangerment, according to Sgt. Debra Herman of the Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Station. She was not a parolee, but rather living a parolee's home, and the arrest was made after officers observed drug consumption around an infant child.
Ronnie Joseph, 34, a parolee was brought in for an unspecified parole violation.
In addition, there was at least one arrest for marijuana cultivation at an Altadena home, but Herman did not immediately have information on that arrest.
The home contained more than the legal amount of marijuana that would be allowable with a medical marijuana prescription, Herman said, though she said she was uncertain whether the arrested individual or individuals had a prescription or not.
Altadena Patch is following up to get more information on the arrest - we will update the story if we receive it.
