U.S. - Mexico Gold Cup Match at Rose Bowl Today

Avoid the 210 Freeway Saturday afternoon if you can and forget about jogging or biking at the stadium lot today.

Pasadena Police Department is advising local residents who are not planning to attend the Gold Cup soccer match between the U.S. and Mexico teams to stay away from the Rose Bowl on Saturday.

Tickets to the match are sold out so anyone headed to the stadium to look for tickets is likely to be disappointed.

Car parking at the stadium lots is $20 on Saturday, so anyone who goes there to exercise or to enjoy the grassy areas should skip those activities on Saturday.

For those who are going, here is some more event information on parking, free shuttles, prohibited items, and more.

The parking lots open up at noon and the game starts at 6 p.m., so afternoon traffic on the 210 Freeway in the area is likely to be significant as well.
