The Williams Fire, burning in the Angeles National Forest above Glendora, is now 48% contained, according to Wednesday afternoon's US Forest Service InciWeb report.

- Total acres burned: 4,180.
- Firefighting resources: 8 air tankers, 10 helicopters, 68 engines,8 dozers, 46 hand crews, and 11 water tenders.
- Total personnel: 1,275
- Current Strategy: Firefighters will continue line construction and holding and strengthening existing lines while utilizing aircraft and ground forces. Crews will take advantage of opportunities to engage in direct attack when possible.
