Woman Arrested for Burglary, Identity Theft of Altadena Resident

Detectives began an investigation after an Altadena resident noticed several large, unauthorized charges on her credit card.

A complex investigation that began January 31 culminated Thursday when Altadena detectives arrested a 28-year-old woman in Pasadena and she was charged with burglary, identity theft and grand theft, the Altadena Sheriff’s Station said in a release Tuesday.

Aqualina Jaime of Pasadena allegedly gained access to an Altadena resident’s credit accounts and obtained thousands of dollars in cash advances on the victim’s credit cards.

Jaime also allegedly used the stolen accounts to make purchases at stores in Pasadena, Duarte and Los Angeles.
