10-Day Water Restrictions in Place for Altadena Starting Today

For the next 10 days residents in the Pasadena area, including Altadena, are being asked to is down for scheduled repairs.
The F.E. Weymouth Treatment Plant in La Verne, which treats local water supplies for water companies, including those in Altadena, will be down for maintenence until March 28.
During that time residents are being asked to limit outdoor watering and take other steps to conserve water.

Local foothill cities tend to get about 35 to 40 percent of their water from local sources, so while imported sources will still be available during this time, a good percent of what is normally available will not be.
