ACONA Meeting Traffic and Fire Safety Speakers Confirmed

Traffic issues and fire safety are the focus of the Altadena Coalition of Neighborhood Associations November meeting.

Patch previously shared the topics that will be discussed at the Nov. 27 Altadena Coalition of Neighborhood Associations (ACONA) meeting and ACONA has since announced who will be speaking on each topic.

  1. Traffic- Paul Barbe, Civil Engineer with the Traffic and Lighting Division of LA County, will discuss traffic issues in Altadena
  2. Highway Patrol- Captain Strull of the CHP will discuss issues related to traffic in Altadena
  3. Fire Safety- Stephanie English, Community Services Liaison for Division III  Fire Station 73 of the Los Angeles County Fire Department will cover fire safety, especially with the Santa Ana winds about to come about. We have also invited Jay Lopez, who is with the Fire Department, who lives in Altadena.

The meeting will be held Tuesday, Nov. 27 at the Altadena Library from 7-8:30pm.
