Altadena Library Art Show Fundraiser Scheduled for August 11

The fundraiser will raise money for the library's foundation, which is working on funding a planned renovation and expansion of the library.

The Altadena Library will be holding an art show fundraiser on August 11 to raise money for the library's foundation.

The show will feature local photographers John Balian and Edward Stepanian, who will be showcasing and selling their photographic works, according to a library press release.

The money will go to the Altadena Library Foundation, which has the mission of raising funds for the renovation and expansion of the main library branch at 600 E. Mariposa Street.  The project's main focus would be making the branch ADA-compliant without sacrificing square footage for books.
