County Supervisors Renew Award in '04 Altadena Killing

A $10,000 reward has been renewed by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, today, in seeking information leading to the apprehension of a murder suspect.

Anthony Lofton, 24, was shot and killed while at Jim's Burgers, 2185 Lincoln Avenue, January 13, 2004. Two eyewitnesses reported seeing a Black male in a hooded sweatshirt fleeing the scene immediately after the shots were fired. No suspect has been taken into custody, officials said.

Supervisor Michael Antonovich (5th-District) recommended the renewal of the reward, which had recently expired.

Detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Bureau are investigating the murder.

Anyone with information is asked to call authorities at (323) 890-5500.
