County To Offer Reward For Oct. 28 Killing

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors is expected to approve a reward for information leading to the apprehension or conviction of a hit and run driver that killed a pedestrian in Boyle Heights recently.

The $50,000 reward is being offered in the case of the hit and run death of Kenneth Hamilton, who was hit by a driver at the intersection of Soto Street and Lancaster Avenue in Boyle Heights, Oct. 28.

Hamilton was a Los Angeles County Probation Department employee. He was struck by what is described as a silver 90s four-door Honda Civic DX. Hamilton was struck and sent into a traffic pole, which then fell and crushed him. Hamilton died at the scene.
