Mayor Michael Cacciotti will host a fundraiser Tuesday at Mijares Mexican Restaurant in Pasadena.

South Pas Mayor Michael Cacciotti has begun hosting a string of fundraising events to raise money for his Assembly Campaign 2012.

He welcomed friends and supporters from around the 41st Assembly District Sunday to hear his ideas at a dinner hosted by South Pas resident Glen Duncan. Gretchen Robinette helped organize the event. And Director Lissa Reynolds emceed.

The next fundraiser will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday (tonight!) at Mijares Mexican Restaurant in Pasadena (145 Palmetto Drive).

The 41st district includes all of South Pasadena—as well as Altadena, Pasadena, Monrovia and Sierra Madre. The district extends through a grouping of cities in eastern Los Angeles County that are geographically linked to the western cities only through the Angeles National Forest. Those cities include San Dimas, parts of Claremont and La Verne and Upland.

Cacciotti faces Chris Holden, Donna Lowe and Victoria Rusnak for the 41st Assembly seat.

Check out our attached photos from Sunday's event.
