The final decision took until three days before the scheduled event, but as of noon on Tuesday, the county has announced it will allow Altadena's monthly Fancy Food Truck Friday to be held this week, according to the event's organizers.

The organizers, Meredith Miller of and Lori Webster, of , have been hosting a group of food trucks behind the store on the second Friday of each month since last February.

Altadena Patch will have its regular preview of the event up later in the week when truck details are released.

I live about half a block from Webster's and even though I have not yet attended (I plan to do so this Friday), my neighbors all rave about how good the food is. I see them as they walk past my house and up the street to the event. It has become quite a family event in our neighborhood and I am pleased that it is going to continue.
