The organizers, Meredith Miller of and Lori Webster, of , have been hosting a group of food trucks behind the store on the second Friday of each month since last February.

The event has twice run into trouble with permit, first last April, when county planners were informed about the event, which was unpermitted at the time.  Miller and Webster then applies for a permit, which expired in September.
