Has Your Street Been Cleaned Yet?

County street clean-up of tree debris following the wind storms is under way. Help us track their progress by marking down your street once it has been cleaned up.

Following the wind storms of November 30, the county is preparing to clean up tree debris from the streets of Altadena, a process that is already underway.

We've received emails from people who say their street has been cleaned already, though obviously at this point they are many more streets still lined with debris.

To track the process, we've created the above map, and are hoping for reader help in getting some idea of how the clean-up is going.

To that end, we are asking you, readers, to go to the map and add your own block to the map.  It is a simple process: just click the link suggesting viewing the 'Altadena Debris Clean-Up' map in a larger window.  Then select 'edit' go to the icon showing the blue marker and place one on your block.  You can also add a description of when the clean-up was completed, or other details.

Readers concerned over fallen trees or other particular debris issues that are not clean can also add a marker.

If this all sounds too complicated, simply list your block in the comments section if it has been cleaned up, and we will add your block to the map ourselves.
