How Altadena Voted

Did Altadena go the way of the state-as-large or chart its own path?

Based on preliminary voting numbers, if Altadena residents had their way, we'd be legalizing marijuana, taxing ourselves to pay for free state park access, and sending Russ Warner to congress.

Additionally Altadenans rejected Proposition 22 by a thin margin.  That proposition will protect local funds from being seized by the state, probably less of a concern to unincorporated Altadena than places with a local government, as I earlier this week.

In fact, overall, Altadena voters only sided with state voters at-large on four out of the , though voters were mostly in agreement on the major elected officials.

Below, are the numbers for the significant state and congressional races, as well as the state propositions.  To cut down on space and make this more readable, I'm leaving out candidates who received less than 5 percent of Altadena votes.
