Notice All the Road Construction Around Town? (Updated)

There are two separate and very extensive road improvement projects going on in Altadena right now.

You've probably noticed the various coned-off areas, closed streets and orange construction signs around Altadena streets lately.

That includes a long-standing project on Woodbury Road, which has moved west to east and has reached Los Robles Avenue, as well as various street closures in the vicinity of the Altadena Golf Course.

What are these projects?

The first, on Woodbury Road is a plan to shrink the median and add landscaping while also adding a bike lane.  That project is scheduled to be completed sometime in mid-November, according to Michael Kaspar of the County Public Works Department.  More information is available here.

The second, which will be on several roads near the intersection of New York Drive and Hill Avenue, involves repaving, curb and gutter repair, and replacement of speed bumps.  Work is being done, will be done or already has been done on:
